2026 3C2A State Champion Aubree Kooren elevated Cuesta Athletics' newest sport by leading Women's Wrestling to an 8th place finish at the 3C2A State Championships.  Kooren, who competed as a member of the Cougars' Club Team last season, enjoyed a monster campaign as she led the program into varsity status.  She spent the entire season in the 131-pound division, while posting a 25-7 record on the mat. 

 

In its first season as a varsity sport, Cuesta Women's Wrestling finished 3rd in the SouthEast Conference and 8th at the 2026 3C2A State Championships. The team also posted a combined 112-51 (.687) individual match record for the season.
