Cuesta Women's Wrestling continues to find success during its inaugural season.  The Cougars have made steady improvement of the season, after opening with a 12th place finish in their first tournament, then to 5th and now, a runner-up finish at the Santa Rosa Invitational. The Cougars travelled to Sonoma County with five wrestlers, who combined for a 15-4 record in the meet.  All American Ayten Elbarbary (124) and Sophomore Aubree Kooren (131) both enjoyed undefeated runs to the top of the podium, while freshmen Ahlexis Terry (138) and Ashleigh Terry each fell in the semi-finals, before earning a Bronze.  

 

The Grapplers travel to Moorpark for a SouthEast Conference Dual on Wednesday (6 PM), before spending the Saturday at the Bakersfield City Open.
