Cuesta Women's Wrestling went on the road for its first competition at the Cerritos Open on Saturday.  The Cougars brought five athletes to the competition and placed 12th in the 18-team event, which was a mix of 3C2A, NAIA and NJCAA competition.  The Cougars' quintet posted a combined record of 10-10, while Freshman Ashleigh Terry claimed 6th overall at 160, as the Cougars only place winner.  

 

The Cougars have a full month before their next competition.  On March 7, the Cougars begin their march through March with six events on the schedule.  The month begins on March 7th, with the State Dual Tournament at Cerritos.
