Freshman Thrower Bella Teresi has enjoyed a monter season, so far, enters the final week of the season as a State Title contender in two events.  She is part of the Cougars' four-woman throwing squad that has a chance to sweep medal in each event.  Teresi currently ranks second on her own team in the Shop Put, Discus and Hammer, but is peaking at the right moment.  Teresi advanced to the State Meet in two events and will be joined by teammate in both competitions.  She is the 4th-seed in the Shot Put, after out distancing her teammate and current Cuesta record holder Nevaeh Dyer, who is seeded 5th.  Teresi is also the 8th-seed for the Hammer, where she is joined by Kiera Taylor, who garnered all-State accolades in the Discus in 2025.  All-time at Cuesta, 

The 2026 3C2A State Championships are scheduled to be held this Friday and Saturday at Mt San Antonio College in Walnut, California.
