Freshman Sprinter Kennedy Mcadoo burst onto the scene as the Cougars' top sprinter early in the season and has only gotten faster. Last Friday, Mcadoo cleared the 100-meters course at the Moorpark Open in a time of :12.29, which moved her into third place on the Cougars' all-time Top 10, while dropping nearly a quarter of a second off her previous best time. Mcadoo owns three marks in the Cougars' all-time Top 10, including another third place all-time in the 400-meters (:57.16) and 8th place in the 200-meters (:26.56). She joins former State Qualifiers Christine Moreno and Gwyndolyn Katics as the only sprinters in the Cougars' all-Time Top 10 for the 100, 200 and 400-meter races. Mcadoo will also be chasing down former State Champions Julia Turing and Riley Cooks in the 100 and 200-meter runs as the Cougars head into their championship schedule.
Cuesta Women's Track & Field has completed its regular season schedule and will enjoy a bye this week before competing in the 2026 Western State Conference's Preliminaries and Championships to close out the month.
