Cuesta Women's Track & Field slid to 22nd place at the CCCAA State Track & Field Championships after posting back-to-back strong showings at the regional and conference meets. The Cougars won the 2025 Western State Conference title and took 6th place at the Regional Meet, before dropping to 22nd place. Cuesta, eventually, slipped behind nine regional foes, including a pair of conference rivals in the final standings. Freshman Thrower Kiera Taylor was the Cougars' top performer and earned all-State Honors, after taking 4th place in the Discus with a throw of 141-0.25. Fellow Throwers Harper Clark and Kristy Huynh teamed up for Javelin. Harper, who was the only member of Cuesta's contingent to post a season-best mark at the meet, took 9th in the Javelin with a toss of 108-1.75, while Huynh finished 10th (103-1.75) in the event. In the pits, High Jumper Mia Martin cleared 4-11 to take 7th in the High Jump, while fellow Leaper Kiana Marie Lambert struggled with the wind in both the Long and Triple Jumps. Lambert, who led the Cougars to the 2025 Western State Conference title with a team-high 23 points, did not score in either event. Freshman Gwyndolyn Katics was Cuesta's lone representative in the lanes and took 5th place in the 400-meters (:57.11).
