Four-time All American Annika Pauschek capped her her career with another All-American finish at the 2026 3C2A State Championships. The one Cougars in the lanes, she was joined at the State Meet by only Diver Raylee Anderson. The dup led the Cougars to 23rd place among the 32 teams represented at the meet. Individually, Pauschek finished 49th overall, with Pauschek scoring 24 points, in three events, of the Cougars' 27 points. Pauschek finished reached the championship finals in both the 100 and 200-backstrokes, finishing 7th and 8th, respectively, while picking up another point with 16th place in the 500-freestyle. Pauschek, who earned all-American honors in 2025, joined Cuesta Cross Country MVP Weston Greenelsh as they both joined a rare few Cuesta athletes to earn all-State honors four times. She also matched 1998 Cuesta Athlete of the Year Chris Lund as the only other four-time All American at Cuesta College.
