Sophomore Wrestler Kodie Cooks has enjyed a breakout sophomore campaign.  After going 8-13 as a freshman in 2024, he has blossomed into an elite grappler with a shot at a 3C2A State Title.  This month, Cooks claimed a SouthEast Confererence title, before earning a Silver at the 2025 3C2A Regional Finals.  He is 22-14 on the season and helped the Cougars set a new program record with a combined 302 individual wins on the season.  He has also taken a journey through the Cougars line-up on his way to elite status at 174.  He also picked up a victory at 197. 

The 2025 3C2A State Championships are scheduled for December 12 and 13 at Sierra College in Rocklin, CA.  Cuesta have qualified wrestlers in nine of the ten divisions.
