Returning All American Chance Evans re-established himself at the season-opening Sacramento Tournament last Saturday.  Evans, who was the 2024 3C2A State Runner-up at 197, opened his sophomore campaign by sweeping the competition 4-0 to win his division. Coach Joe Dansby said, of his perfomance in one of the tougher divisions, "He ran through the compeitition.  He was dominant."  The Cougars ended up 4th overall in the 11-team event.  

The Cougars next event is the Lemoore Tournament on September 27.
