Freshman Forward Kinzie Amer scoreda career-high 21 points as the Cougars pushed #17 Santa Barbara into the final minutes of Wednesday's game. Amer.  The Cougars finally wore down and, eventually, fell to the Vaqueros, 78-66, despite entering the final period just one shot behind their ranked foes. Amer also dished out a game-high five assists and added four rebounds to er scoresheet.  On the season, she leads the Cougars with 3.3 assists and per game, while also contributing 8.4 points and 7.2 rebounds per contest. 

Cuesta Women's Basketball shall begin its second swing through the Western State Conference this Wednesday at Allan Hancock in Santa Maria.
