Women's Hoops Opens Strong Against Lemoore, Returns Home All Week

Cuesta Women's Basketball opens the 2024-25 season with a convincing victory over Lemoore, 76-51.  2024 All-Western State Conference First Team Guard Reese Pasternik, who posted Cuesta's first recorded triple-double in her collegiate debut to open last season, joined two of her teammates with double-doubles against the Eagles. Pasternik scored a team-high 20 points and pulled down 11 caroms, while Freshman Center Kiera Taylor and Forward Kaylee Batten debuted with 19 points and 13 rebounds and 13 points and 11 rebounds, respectively.   Returning Point Guard Bella Musolff ran the show for Cuesta, while scoring 13 points and dishing out eight assists.  The Cougars are 1-0.  

Cuesta opened the season on the road but begins a five-game homestand this week.  This week, the Cougars host Hartnell on Tuesday (5 PM), Sequoias on Thursday (6 PM) and Porterville on Saturday (1 PM)
