Cuesta College Male Athlete of the Month, November 2025- Weston Greenelsh

Cuesta College Athletics Department is proud to announce this month's selections for the Cuesta Athlete of the Month.  This distinct honor recognizes two Cuesta College Athletes each month during the school year who have performed to the highest standards in their sport.  Our male selection for November is Sophomore Harrier Weston Greenelsh

2025 Cuesta College Co-Athlete of the Year Weston Greenelsh became only the third runner in history to win back-to-back 3C2A State Cross Country titles, and he did so in dominant fashion. He took the lead just before the final mile marker and never looked back.    His time of 19:51.0 also set a record on the Woodward Park Course.  He claimed the title with a comfortable eight-second lead, while also defending his 2024 win and adding a third 3C2A Title to his trophy collection.   Last Spring, Greenelsh also won a 3C2A State Title in the 1,500-meters during track and field last year when he won the 5,000-meters at the 3C2A State Track & Field Championships, while also earning Silver in the 1,500m. He has now ventured into the conversations of some of the Cougars as he prepares for his fourth all-State title during track & field.  His three CCCAA State Titles ties him with fellow 2205 Cuesta College Male Co-Athlete of the Year Grant Huston, Diver Sean Clark (2003-4) for the most individual titles at Cuesta College.  Greenelsh is also joined by All American Poloist Annika Pauschek, who shall also chase her fourth career all-State honor this spring.
