Sophomore Center Thor Samuel helped lead Cuesta Men's Water Polo to a 5-0 record last week, including a sweep of the competition in the Cuesta II Tournament.  Samuel netted 11 goals on the week, including tying his career-high with four goals in the Cougars' win over Cabrillo.  Samuel also contributed to Cuesta's other 84 goals on the week by adding six assists to his teammates.   

 

The Cougars travel south for a three-day, six game road trip next weekend.  On Thursday, Cuesta, at separate venues, shall play at both Biola University (Noon) and Santa Monica (4 PM), before heading to Garden Grove for four more games at the Golden West Tournament on Friday and Saturday.  The Cougars are scheduled to open the against El Camino (10:20) on Friday morning and play three more games at the event.
