Cuesta Men's Track & Field has qualified six competitors for the 2025 CCCAA Regional Finals this Saturday (Noon) at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo. 2024 CCCAA State Cross Country Champion Weston Greenelsh and returning State Qualifier William Dawes shall lead the Cuesta contingent. Greenelsh has dominated the distance events this season and has qualified for the 800, 1,500 and 5,000-meter runs, however he has decided to drop the 800-meters to concentrate on his two best events. Dawes plans to stick with all three of his events, including his part in the 4x100 relay. He is among the favorites in both the Long and Triple Jump competitions. Fellow Leaper Joey Mikles shall join Dawes for both the Long Jump and the relay, along with Gavin Beck and Alexander Oldham (pict). Oldham shall run on his own in the 400-hurdles, while Cal Corn is the Cougars' lone High Jumper in the meet.
