Men's Track & Field Earns Team Silver at WSC Championships, Preps For Regionals

Cuesta Men's Track and Field took the team Silver, behind a powerhouse Moorpark squad that won its 5th straight title since the pandemic.  The Cougars were led by 2024 CCCAA State Cross Country Champion Weston Greenelsh and Record-breaking Leaper William Dawes, who combined for four individual titles.  Dawes won the Triple (47-3.5) and Long Jumps (22-1.5), before joining the Cougars' record-breaking 4x100 Relay (:42.23) for another title, with teammates Joey Mikles, Gavin Beck and Alexander Oldham, while Greenelsh left the competition in the dust as he cruised to victories in the 800 (1:54.55) and 1500-meter (3:57.76) runs.  In all the Cougars' posted a dozen Top 5 performances. 

The Cougars return to action this weekend as their month-long journey to the 2025 CCCAA State Championship (May 16-17) continues with the CCCAA Southern Regional Preliminary Meet this Saturday at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo.
