Cuesta Men's Basketball opens the season this Tuesday, November 4, at DeAnza College in Cupertino, before returning home for the 56th Hinson's Tire Pros Classic.  The Cougars shall host three other 2025 3C2A Playoff teams in the two-day event.  On Friday, local rival Allan Hancock opens the event against Sequoias (5 PM), while the Cougars face Mendocino (7 PM) in the nightcap.  The Cougars and Bulldogs swap partners on Saturday, with the Bulldogs playing the Eagles (1 PM) and the Cougars suiting up against the Giants (3 PM).  

Cuesta Men's Basketball opens the season with a new coach for the first time since 1993, as Jamoni Barber takes over a program that has reached the playoffs six times in the past ten full seasons, including last season.  Coach Barber roster includes only two players from last year's roster, but all-WSC Guard Corbin Rossi and Forward Ryan McNamee should help anchor a team that boasts eight freshmen.  Coach Barber has the Cougars looking good and ready for their season to open.
