Cuesta's Starting Pitcher Brady Rea allowed only two runs over the first seven innings and earned the victory, while Reliever Sam Black earned a Save, after coming in to get the final out. Outfielder Jak Sinclair, with a pair of doubles, and Catcher Jesse Saucedo, with two singles, accounted for a half of the Cougars' eight hits on the day. Cuesta, which opened the season with three straight losses, has now won three of their past four games and is 5-7 on the season.
The Cougars shall complete their three game series against Saddleback tomorrow (Noon) and begin their 2026 Western State Conference schedule next week.
