Cuesta Baseball shall complete a home and home series at #16 Reedley this Tuesday (2 PM), before hosting a three-game series with #15 Saddleback this Thursday (2 PM), Friday (2 PM) and Saturday (Noon).  The Bobcats, ranked 15th in the CCCBCA Poll this week, are one spot ahead of the Reedley. 

 

The Cougars, currently unranked, opened the season by dropping a trio of games to #2 Riverside, before splitting a series at Los Medanos (#16 North) and beating Reedley, 4-3, in their first meeting.  Last week, Cuesta travelled to Costa Mesa for a three-game series against Orange Coast.  The Pirates greeted the Cougars with a decisive loss, 14-1, on Thursday, but the Cougars crept back into contention.  The Bucs also took Game 2 but needed a late comeback to squeak past the Cougars, 7-6.  The series' finale was another one-run affair, but the Cougars went home with the victory, 10-9, after ten innings of play.    Cuesta enters this week with a 3-6 overall record.
