Cuesta Baseball reached the CCCAA Super Regional for the second straight season but were unable to advance to the Regional Final.  The Cougars, who swept Southwestern in their first round series, were doomed by a pair of slow starts in their Super Regional contests.  In the Regional opener against Chaffey, the Cougars were trailing by eight runs going into the 5th inning, however they were able to tie the game, 8-8, in the 6th.  The Panthers truck back to tack on three more of their own runs before the final out and pushed Cougars into an elimination game, 11-9.  The Cougars faced their host and #1-seed Mt San Antonio in their second game, but suffered through another slow start, as the Mounties scored eight runs in the first inning.  The Cougars mustered single runs in the 1st and 5th innings, but entered the final frame trailing, 14-2.  Cuesta did not go down easy and finished with a flurry of four hits and four runs, before bowing out of the post-season with a 14-6 loss.  Coach Bob Miller, who competed his 23rd season at the helm, guided the Cougars to their 19th playoff berth over the 21 complete seasons (Post-season cancelled in both 2020 and 2021) under his leadership, while also leading the program to its 30th playoff berth since 1990.  

Cuesta shall announce the program's 2025 All-Western Conference selections at the conclusion of the post-season.
