Sand-Spikers Conclude Season at WSC Pairs Tourney
Cuesta Women's Beach Volleyball wrapped up its third season with the Western State Conference Pairs Tournament in Ventura.  The Cougars posted a combined 4-5 record, which means that four of their pairs made it through the first round of competition.  The Cougars were a combined 43-76 in their individual matches on the season, while posting a 5-17 overall record and, for the third straight season.  Cuesta also went 2-10 against the Western State Conference and finished 6th in the circuit. The all-WSC teams are scheduled to be released at the conclusion of the post-season.

The Cougars' third season in the sand may have looked familiar in the box score, but the program made great leaps this season.  Sophomore Hanne Porter tied the program record with 11 wins this season, while Freshman Audrey Bolton (pict) became the first Cuesta player to ever boast a winning record (7-5) with a .583 winning percentage (min 10 matches).  The Cougars expanded their home schedule this season, while the upgrades continue as their on-campus facility rushes into its fourth decade.  2025 All-WSC selection Cayley Brown completed her career with a program record 19 career wins and the peace of mind for her legacy, as that none of this year's freshmen had more than eight wins.

Post-season awards shall be announced at the conclusion of the post-season.
