CUESTA COLLEGE ANNOUNCES 2025 SPRING ATHLETIC HONOR ROLL
SAN LUIS OBISPO (July 23, 2025) -- Cuesta has compiled the names of 93 individuals who have risen to the top of Cuesta College's 2025 spring scholar-athlete list, including several repeat honorees, as well as both Cuesta 2024-25 Warren Hansen Scholar-Athletes- Hailey Hallford (Soccer/Softball) and Cal Corn (Track & Field). The success of Cuesta student-athletes is significant, as is the fact that 70% of Cuesta College's 133 spring sport athletes made the honor roll and earned 204 All Western State Conference. Academic Team status. Additionally, 20 student-athletes posted perfect marks with straight A's on the semester. Cuesta is one of the State's top community college for students looking to transfer to the four-year level and Cuesta Ahtletics is helping to lead the way.
The Cuesta Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who have completed, at least,12 units during the past semester with a grade point average of at or over 3.0, while finishing in good standing with their respective athletic program. This year the honor roll boasts representatives from each of the seven spring sports and both basketball teams. Beach Volleyball led the way with a combined 3.515 grade point average, while continuing to improve in the program's second year of existence. The Cuesta Nine led the men's teams after posting cumulative 3.441 GPA, while also winning the Western State Conference title and reaching the CCCAA Baseball Super Regional.
Cuesta athletes traditionally excel in the classroom and this semester was no exception. Cuesta's athletes carried an average 15.2 units and combined to complete 94.7% of their classes with a 3.301 GPA. The complete 2025 Cuesta College Spring Student-Athlete Honor Roll is attached to this release.
