2024 Cuesta College Alberta Deutsche Fan of the Year Irma Wheeler (pict-L) has been a supportive and positive presence at all the Cougars' Aquatic events. Irma's son, Matthew Wheeler (pict-R), has been a member of the program the past two years, but Irma supported and cheered for all of Cuesta's Aqua-Cats, including providing snacks and drinks. Cuesta Athletic Director Bob Mariucci says of Irma, ""Irma is such an amazing supporter of Cuesta College Athletics, especially the aquatics programs. She attends just about every water polo & swim tournament and the team appreciates her fun-filled enthusiasm and support. She is definitely our Fan of the Year. On behalf of the student athlete and coaches, I want to thank Irma for her tremendous support and friendship to all of us."
