She arrived as a talented athlete and a talented shot-blocker; but Tina augmented her natural talent with an enthusiasm for hard work and a dedication to learning the nuances of the position. Tina didn't score goals, but her ability to shutdown opponents and lead the offensive fast-break with her passing made her the most dominant player in the tank. Tina split time as a freshman and this year became the State's best Goaltender and led us to the playoffs."
